MEET YOUR INGENEX-ER, Volume 1 Episode 4

OMG! I thought it would never happen! But I pulled some strings and got the man, the myth, the LEGEND–Derek Mehraban. So lets get straight to it and play….

Meet your Ingenex-er!!

Who are you?

Derek Mehraban

Ooops! I already mentioned that. Sorry. Ok. Let’s move along…

What role do you play at Ingenex?

President and Founder – As you could say the buck stops here. But it’s really the team that runs Ingenex, I just help out as needed.

HA! So far from the truth. He is THE MAN at getting the team moving and motivated.  He’s just being modest.

Have you always been an [INSERT JOB TITLE HERE]?

Hmm, no. I had to work my way up the ladder. When I began the business I was in sales. Then became a copywriter. Then back to sales. Then I started Ingenex on May 1, 2006. The twelve years since then has really flown by.

Time flies when you’re having fun! Speaking of fun, let’s get to the GOOD questions. And we’ll start with my favorite one…

If you were on a sinking boat with the Ingenex Team, what other Ingenex-er would you kick off?

I’m not wild about sinking boat analogies in business. But if I must, I would patch the boat using a product from our former client West System Epoxy, and keep sailing. Everyone can stay onboard. 🙂

Did you guys see what he did there? Always the marketer and always the problem solver. That’s why we keep him around.

What did you want to be when you were 6 ½ years old?

OMG really? Probably a veterinarian, because I wanted to help animals. Then I learned you had to take chemistry to be a vet, and I was like, no that’s OK.

OMG, ME TOO!

Pop or Soda?

Pop.

*sigh* you Michiganders, I tell ya what. One day you’ll come to your senses.

How much wood could a Wood Chuck chuck if a Wood Chuck could chuck wood?

A lot.

I’m pretty sure that’s actually true.

Who is your celebrity doppelgänger?

Michael Rapaport

I had to Google that but OMG, yes

Secret talent?

Figuring out what will happen in a movie before most people.

I need to make a mental note to NOT go to the movies with you.

Coolest place you have ever traveled to?

Nepal. We spent a month in Asia when the girls were young. I really want to go back.

Please bring me if you do!

Proudest Moment?

Watching my daughters grow up and succeed. There is nothing more gratifying than watching your kids live life, compete, and grow up!

Such a proud daddy! Those girls are rockstar swimmers, too.

What is one word that describes you?

Lucky

Yes! And we are lucky to have such a great leader. Thanks for Playing….

Meet your Ingenex-er!!
