Why We Love HubSpot: The Content Strategy Tool

So. You’re using Hubspot’s awesome marketing platform to grow your business.

As a digital marketing professional who believes in the incredible power of inbound marketing, you know you need to provide meaty, well-researched and engaging content on your website and in your blog posts.

But: Gah! You’ve run out of ideas. You can’t figure out what to write. You’re at a loss. You’re stumped. You’re frantic. You want your mom to make it all better.

She can’t.

But HubSpot’s Content Strategy Tool can.

This is one of Hubspot’s newest inbound tools. It’s so new, it’s still in beta. But that doesn’t mean you can’t give it a spin. See how it runs.

We’re here to tell you: it purrs!

Here’s how it works and why you will want to use it:

Content is great and keywords are still important. But what do Google and other search really want? In addition to meaty and highly informative content, search engines want websites to organize their content by topics. More specifically, group similar/related pieces of content around a central topic (also known as a “pillar” page) for which you want to be known and you’ll soon enough be golden in Google’s eyes.

Hubspot’s content tool makes this easy because it goes over your site (crawls) and then offers topic suggestions to you based on their popularity, relevance and your competition. But wait, there’s more: the content tool then – and this is SO cool! –organizes the suggested topics into clusters  that will then help the site earn higher search rankings and – even better – bring you higher quality traffic.

In a nutshell, not only can this newest of Hubspot features  help you come up with topics, it helps you choose topics that your prospects are looking for. They want to read it. You won’t need to stress about figuring out what they’re looking for. No muss. No fuss. No whimpering.

Our Michigan digital marketing agency has used this newest of marketing automation tools with our clients.  Hubspot’s inbound marketing platform is terrific, but it’s not easy to learn or master. If you’ve been using it for your business’ marketing but feel you don’t have the time to learn it in order to take advantage of its full potential, let us help you
